How a Game of 90-Ball Actually Works
Tickets come in strips of six, and the six isn’t an accident. Spread across those tickets, the numbers 1 to 90 each turn up exactly once. Buy the full strip and you hold all ninety, so every number the caller pulls is sitting somewhere on it. Each individual ticket carries fifteen numbers on a grid of three rows and nine columns, with the remaining squares left blank.
A game runs in three stages, and each one pays out separately. Complete any single horizontal line on a ticket first and the one-line prize is yours. The two-line prize goes to whoever fills two lines on the same ticket. Mark off all fifteen numbers and you’ve a full house, which carries the largest share of the pot, usually well over half, and the two line prizes split what’s left.
